Check-in any time on day of arrival, check-out by 2pm on day of departure unless otherwise arranged.

Please discuss your needs with us. We will accommodate them wherever possible. 

Sorry, no pets due to working dogs on property.

All horse riding guests will need to sign a waiver release form before commencement of any horse riding activities, regardless of experience. 

As we are situated in a quiet country area, noise travels easily.  Out of respect for families on neighbouring properties we request that loud music and excessive noise be kept to a minimum.  

Any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that you bring to the premises or on to the grounds of the property remain your responsibility. The owners/hosts of Dumaresq Homestead are not responsible for their safekeeping. You will be issued with a key to the premises to protect such valuables for your stay and it is your responsibility to ensure the premises remain locked.  The key is to be returned upon departure or a fee of $25 will be deducted from your deposit to facilitate replacement. 

Any unclaimed property left in the accommodation can be returned to you via your choice of postage at your expense - unclaimed property will be disposed of after three months. 

You agree that regardless of your length of stay there is no tenancy or other rights created under any Landlord or Tenant laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay. We grant you a licence to stay in our property and you agree that we may terminate the licence at any time. 

We adhere to the National Privacy Principles relating to the collection of personal information. Information collected from you on the registration slip is required to meet the requirements of State legislation regarding the maintenance of a guest register, for fire safety reasons, for billing purposes and to market our services to you. If you do not provide us with this information, we may be unable to provide you with accommodation. We will make this information available to third parties where required by law or to enforce our collection of amounts owing by you. You must advise us if any details on the registration slip are incorrect. 

Personal information collected during your stay will be retained for the length of time necessary to comply with taxation and accounting requirements (usually seven years). Please see our Privacy policy. 

If you or your guests incur any additional charges, including extra cleaning costs not charged at the time of your booking, these will be charged to the credit card used for payment of your bond deposit. 

Any items removed from the first aid kit will be deducted from the bond deposit. 

At the completion of your stay, it is your responsibility to leave the premises in the same clean and tidy manner as found on your arrival. It is our right to charge a cleaning fee of $200 (equal to the security bond) upon your departure if the premises are not left in the manner requested.  We have a small “Check Out” list available in the homestead to assist you.

Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas using the applicable smokers butt trays. As directed by Queensland Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998 Part 2B (smoke-free enclosed place) smoking is NOT permitted at any time in the homestead.  A $1000 cleaning fee applies if smoke contamination occurs during your stay.
